ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The world is secured with General Insurance products; be it Natural calamities, Vehicles, Property and Buildings, Health, Agriculture, Aviation, Marine, Cyber or any other tangible or intangible assets. The pricing of products is complex in nature due to various key influencing factors related to geography, society, culture and civilisation. Though the principles remain the same across all regions, methodology and assumptions are likely to vary significantly even within a society. To understand such complexity and variance of general insurance products, the lifetime of an individual may fall short. A comprehensive training on pricing of general insurance products might be appropriate and helpful to a larger group of actuarial members for their better, deeper and wider learning.
